Our second event of the year took PistonHeads back to a fan-favourite venue – Mercedes-Benz World, Weybridge. This event always proves popular, and PHers certainly didn’t let us down with 400 cars descending on the Railway Straight of Brooklands Circuit.

With the sun making a welcome appearance, there wasn’t a shortage of things to do. Kicking off with hot laps proved popular (MW even had to add another car to keep up with the demand) along with off-road drives. The morning culminated with a brilliant display from Mercedes’ pro-driving squad, The Silver Arrows.

Those who had the chance to take a nose around the museum side would have seen an array of classics, motorsport and AMG legends. For us though, the winners here would easily be the C111-IV (that’s the 251 mph V8 orange wedge development car) and the Black SLR Stirling Moss finished with 722 alloys.

As always though, it’s our ever-growing community of cars that stole the show. From an LS-V8 swapped GT86 and a Giulia in GTAm flavour, to a 1929 Bentley and even an appearance from ‘Herbie’ – there was something unique, interesting and exciting wherever you looked.  Why not join the conversation and share your photos from the event over on the original forum thread here.

Finallly, a huge thank you to our volunteer marshals Tony, Richard and Robin who helped run our event.

If you missed out on our visit to Mercedes-Benz World, our next Sunday Service is only four weeks away, and will be hosted at Castle Combe circuit. Registration for the event will go live this week.
